Description:

Pu-erh has been drunk by the peoples of the Yunnan-Tibet border region since the Tang dynasty (618 – 907). It is prized for its distinctive earthy flavor and is often pressed into small bowls resembling bird nests. Although technically in a category all its own, we have it with our black teas because it brews to a deep black color.
